Mike Keymer

Mike Keymer is a distinguished technology executive known for his leadership and visionary approach to the commercialization of deep-tech innovations. With extensive experience serving large corporations as well as federal customers in Defense, Intelligence and Civilian agencies, Mike has worked across a broad technology portfolio that includes quantum computing, remote sensing, cybersecurity, and AI/ML. His executive roles have encompassed business development, application development, client support, and capital resourcing, to drive the adoption of cutting-edge technologies in highly competitive markets. 
 

Mike’s extensive career also reflects a deep commitment to working with U.S. Government customers and navigating a broad array of commercial industries including financial services, energy, and pharmaceuticals. As Vice President of Quantum Solutions at Quantum Computing Inc., Mike spearheaded efforts to integrate quantum photonic hardware and quantum-inspired approaches into practical applications. While a Managing Partner at Basira Funds he was involved in leveraging quantitative finance algorithms to enhance global investment strategies. As Chief Executive Officer of Origent Data Sciences, he commercialized predictive analytics technologies for neurodegenerative diseases to pioneer strategic shifts in drug development for ALS. His earlier positions, including Vice President of Operations at Gannon Technologies and Principal at Right Start Group, underscore his broad expertise in technology commercialization, startup incubation and serving US Defense and Intelligence customers.

 

With a proven track record in driving innovation within these complex ecosystems, Mike’s career is marked by his ability to bridge technology and market needs across various sectors. He has led multidisciplinary teams of scientists and engineers to develop, demonstrate, and advance early applications of bleeding-edge technologies. His leadership has been pivotal in translating technological innovations into viable use cases and advancing early business relationships with commercial and government customers.
 

Mike holds engineering degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Washington University in St. Louis, and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
